Hypnotherapy
has been proven as a safe, natural and powerful way to heal these issues.
Hypnotherapy has been approved by well-renowned medical and scientific establishments as far back as the 19th century and especially since the 1950s.
The British Medical Association (BMA) has been formally studying and verifying hypnotherapy since 1892. Among the first professional institutions to research hypnotherapy, the special committee of eleven doctors commissioned to study hypnotherapy reported that "they have satisfied themselves of the genuineness of the hypnotic state" (BMA, 1892). The BMA recognized that hypnotism is "frequently effective in relieving pain, procuring sleep and alleviating many functional ailments". The BMA again endorsed the 1892 work and stated that "hypnosis is effective in treating psychosomatic disorders, revealing unrecognized motives and conflicts, removing symptoms, changing morbid thoughts and behaviors, and alleviating pain" (1955). The British Psychological Society (BPS) reported that hypnosis is a proven therapeutic medium. “Hypnotic procedures may be beneficial in the management and treatment of a wide range of conditions and problems encountered in the practice of medicine, psychiatry and psychotherapy" (2001).
The American Medical Association (AMA) followed and recognized hypnotherapy as an "orthodox medical treatment (as opposed to an "alternative" or "complementary" treatment)" (1958). The United States' National Institute of Health (NIH) concluded that hypnosis is effective in alleviating chronic pain and other conditions and tension headaches (1995). The American Psychological Association endorsed hypnosis as a branch of psychology, understanding that the practice of psychology emerged from the field of hypnosis (1960).
